Getting started
Simple Archive Converter requires macOS 15 or later. Drag files or folders onto the window, or press ⌘O. Pick an output format for each file with the menu on its row, or for all files at once with All to…. The first time you convert, the app asks you to choose an output folder and remembers it; you can change it any time from the folder button. Press Convert (⌘↩) to start.
Bulk actions
Use the circles on each row (or Select all, ⌘A) to select files. A floating bar then lets you change the format of the selection, merge images and PDFs into one PDF, compress files into a ZIP, run PDF tools, or remove items. Use Clear → Remove Completed to tidy the list, and the folder icon on a finished row to reveal the result in Finder.
PDF tools and OCR
Select one or more PDFs and choose PDF Tools to split, compress, rotate, extract or delete pages, add page numbers or a watermark, protect or unlock with a password, remove metadata, or make a scanned PDF searchable. To turn a photo or scanned PDF into text, choose TXT, Markdown or DOCX as the output format. OCR runs on your Mac and works best with English text; Options lets you switch between PaddleOCR and Apple Vision.
Troubleshooting
If a row shows a red triangle, hover over it or read the message under the file name; it explains what went wrong. Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first (PDF Tools → Remove password). WebM, MKV, AVI, FLV and WMV are not supported in the App Store edition. Converted files never overwrite your originals: if a name already exists, a number is added.
¿Necesitas ayuda?
Primeros pasos
Simple Archive Converter requiere macOS 15 o posterior.
