Getting started
Offcaps requires macOS 26 or later on a Mac with Apple silicon. Drop a video or audio file into the window (or press ⌘O). Offcaps writes the captions on your Mac, then shows each style on your own video. Pick one, use Customize to change the font, colors, size and position, and press Save video. Export subtitles saves SRT, VTT or plain text; the Text button lets you fix any word or timing.
First launch
The first time you caption a file, Offcaps downloads its speech model once (about 500 MB) and needs an internet connection for that. After that it works offline.
Reinstalled or new Mac?
Open the confirmation page from your purchase again and press Open Offcaps. In the app you can also choose “Already bought? Restore” and paste the link from that page. You can also email us from the address on your Stripe receipt.

Offcaps escribe los subtítulos en tu Mac y muestra cada estilo sobre tu propio video. Elige uno, usa Personalizar para cambiar la letra, los colores, el tamaño y la posición, y pulsa Guardar video. Exportar subtítulos guarda SRT, VTT o texto; el botón Texto te deja corregir cualquier palabra o tiempo.
Primer arranque
La primera vez que subtitulas un archivo, Offcaps descarga una sola vez su modelo de voz (unos 500 MB) y necesita internet para eso. Después funciona sin conexión.
¿Reinstalaste o tienes un Mac nuevo?
Abre otra vez la página de confirmación de tu compra y toca Abrir Offcaps. En la app también puedes elegir “¿Ya compraste? Restaurar” y pegar el enlace de esa página. O escríbenos desde el correo de tu recibo de Stripe.
